Running the forecast…
No new system to adopt
FlightPath is an add-on, not a replacement. Instructors keep their scheduler and their records exactly as they are. FlightPath reads what the school already produces and adds the forecasting layer on top. The only question for each school is which of these sources it can share and how.
TAF, METAR, NWS forecast, airport history
Automatic from your home airport. Nothing to set up.
Effort: None
Flight Schedule Pro, Flight Circle, MyFBO, Excel
A saved reservations report (CSV) run on a set cadence, or the scheduler's API where the school already pays for it. No scraping.
Try the export import →Effort: One saved report, exported daily or weekly
Tail numbers, models, avionics, Hobbs, inspection dates
One-time upload, then Hobbs from the scheduler or a weekly update.
Try the export import →Effort: About 30 minutes once
Paper TRS, Zite, Google Sheets, a records vendor's export
Digital exports map to the FlightPath template. Paper schools can start with the free calculator and add records later.
Effort: Varies most by school; this is the integration conversation
Weather minimums by phase, rates, operating hours
Entered once at setup.
Effort: 15 minutes
One shared engine, each school's own configuration
Every school runs on the same FlightPath engine with its own syllabus, minimums, fleet, and branding. When reporting requirements change, for example new quality-management expectations for Part 141 schools, the change is made once in the engine and reaches every school, while each school's syllabus stays its own.
FlightPath is not an FAA-approved recordkeeping system. Paper or the school's records system remains the record.
